Grace Community Center started as a friendship between two local pastors in our community who shared a common desire to serve the West End of Sikeston. The merging of their two churches, one historically black and one historically white, created a single new congregation. Together they envisioned creating a space where people could gather and receive encouragement while being served with the love of Christ. To achieve this goal, they sold a building, sought out resources, and drew up plans; now the vision is becoming a reality. The two pastors serve on the Board of Directors for the Center and are excited to see how the Lord will use the Center for the good of the city.

What We Will Do
Services and Programs we plan to provide
Services
- Daycare Facility: will offer affordable child care for children during the work week
- Commercial Kitchen: will be available for hosting community events such as birthday parties, meetings, & celebrations
- Full Size Gym With Stage: will be open for both recreational activities and large-capacity meetings or events
- Classroom/Meeting Space: can be used for various size meetings with multimedia capabilities
- Laundromat: will provide limited laundromat services to families in crisis
- Disaster Response: will provide a specific location for local disaster relief efforts
Programs
- After School: will provide educational & physical activities for local students
- Youth Sports: will offer free/low-cost options for area children
- Meal/Food Distribution: will collaborate with agencies to ensure that children have access to proper nutrition
- Job Training: will provide job seekers with essential tools and programs to enter the workforce successfully
- Healthcare: will partner with local health organizations to provide needed services such as screenings, prenatal care, and blood drives

(includes $100 deposit)
- Includes 8 hours for day of event and 2 hours for set up (day of or day before) with 1 hour for cleanup
- Deposit refunded if building returned to preuse condition.
